You know, sometimes I think that nothing is more dangerous than people
without experince in font design but with a good font editor in hands.
(I know. I have FontLab3. Sometimes I scare myself.)
I especially mistrust fonts that are tweaked for use with X11.
Somehow I was not surprised to see the lack of kerning information in
AFM's, missing glyphs for anything that is not directly encoded. I
mean, people that do this sort of font packs usually have best
intentions. You know where best intentions end up. There's a similar
font pack for Russian, only in worse relative condition.
