If a character isn't supported, it can't be printed, but this is of course
true of any formatting system.

Given suitable typefaces, it should be possible to configure Lout to print
Chinese characters though. Print direction might be a problem, but there are
plenty of people that are better qualified than me to determine whether Lout
is suitable for printing Chinese or not.
