Page breaks within @Examples?

Hi,

I'm currently using Lout to format a large document with lots of
@Example's. Examples are pieces of text (usually excerpts from
newspaper articles), and I would like to have these examples
formatted like this:

(1.1) This is the first example of chapter 1

Therefore my @ExampleFormat looks like this:

@ExampleFormat { { (number) } ||4fx @Insert body }

Everything works fine, except that there are no page breaks within
examples. When changing the @ExampleFormat to something like

@ExampleFormat { { (number) } ||4fx @LP body }

Lout inserts page breaks, but causes the examples to look like
this:

(1.1)
        This is the first example of chapter 1

Is there any @ExampleFormat that will fulfill both requirements
- printing the example number and the first line of the example
at the same vertical position, and inserting page breaks into
long examples?
Greetings, and thanks in advance for any help,

Stephan Pabst
