Your `Ouch' is nothing to mine; I hardly dare tell you but I am not
running the same example as posted!!
In an effort to get as relevant an example as possible, I tweaked the
one I had been using to get rid of Bold; I replaced it by Slope in the
document title and by Base in the section title; by this means, Bold
never appeared in the document. On the next run, the document and
section titles were changed appropriately. The TOC remained the same
so the problem remained and I could post the example. Wrong! I forgot
to run the job twice so I was still using the old TOC. It's so obvious
now but wasn't then.
Abject apologies are rendered. I am really sorry for the unnecessary
work I have caused.
Barrie.
