This option was not actually asked for, but anyway it seems like
a bad idea to me, because even if it was made a command-line
option it would affect the whole document, not just the
Japanese bits.  At least with a preprocessor you have the
option of identifying restricted areas of the input files
that are to be converted.  Are you planning to do this?
