Out of purely academic interest I changed LoutSetTexture to read:

% p LoutSetTexture -

/LoutSetTexture

{

   pop

%  LoutCurrentCCS

%  3 -1 roll

%  LoutSetCCSP

} bind def

... and the error with Distiller went away. I am puzzled, what could be wrong with

the original

% p LoutSetTexture -

/LoutSetTexture

{

  LoutCurrentCCS

  3 -1 roll

  LoutSetCCSP

} bind def

Any ideas?
