Hi Stuart,

I'm using CVS version (ltib 8.1.2 ($Revision: 1.399 $))
. When I search for .la files, it returns:

-----------------------------------------------------------------

address@hidden:~/ltib/ltib_cvs/ltib$ sudo find -name *.la
./tmp/libtiff/opt/freescale/rootfs/arm/usr/lib/libtiff.la
./rpm/BUILD/tiff-3.8.2/port/libport.la
./rpm/BUILD/tiff-3.8.2/port/.libs/libport.la
./rpm/BUILD/tiff-3.8.2/libtiff/.libs/libtiff.la
./rpm/BUILD/tiff-3.8.2/libtiff/.libs/libtiffxx.la
./rpm/BUILD/tiff-3.8.2/libtiff/libtiff.la
./rpm/BUILD/tiff-3.8.2/libtiff/libtiffxx.la
address@hidden:~/ltib/ltib_cvs/ltib$

-----------------------------------------------------------------

This problem is occurring with libtiff in this case but happens with
tohers packages too.

Which config does it depends?

Thanks for your help !!!
