Hi James,

I forgot to say that you'll need to first remove the source for hotplug
that was failing so the new package sources will install.  Can you do:

$ rm -rf rpm/BUILD/hotplug*
$ ./ltib -p hotplug

As it goes by can you make sure you see hotplug-2004_03_29-dash.patch
get applied after the main tarball and hotplug-2004_03_29-initd.patch
get installed.

Even though you are not using dash, from within the environment the dash
shell may be getting invoked.  Please try and let me know.
