As I barely know C++, fixing it myself is pretty much out of the question given the complexity of Qtopia. :)

I have qtopia 2 up-n-running, was hoping to move up to 4.3.0.

I guess I'll have to ask Freescale.  I'll dig out the contact info form the archices (as you've supplied it may times in the past)...
