Subject: | [Ltib] OLED Touchscreen LCD support for Embedded Artists LPC 3131 baseboard |

Hi All, I've got an EA LPC 3131 baseboard and an OLED Touchscreen LCD (2.8 inch) which goes with it. I was able to connect the LCD to the board and try out some sample programs (not over Linux). However now I would like to configure the Linux kernel (which I have often downloaded to the board with no problems) to be able to use the LCD from Linux. With the EA LPC 3250 board, one can easily configure the kernel to include support for the OLED or normal LCD, but this option is unavailable for the LPC 3131 build. I understand that this can be done by writing to /dev/fb0, and thus I have built a kernel with all fb related options included. However, this had no success, since trying even a simple "cat file1 /dev/fb0" gives me "can't open /dev/fb0, No such device". My LCD is from CMEL, and consists of an embedded display driver S6E63D6 from Samsung, and can be used in either 8-bit or 16-bit parallel mode, or 8-bit serial mode.
