Hi Stuart (thank again for the support !!! Very useful) 

I too supposed that --- was ok, experiencing the same thing on openwrt platform 
(on another board) and exploring the .config files. In fact I told this because 
the error was that the packages that the system was unable to build are related 
to default settings when I activate X11 option. I read yread your previous 
mail, now re-try with the snapshot you suggest .
