I wonder if anyone can direct me to how the GPIO kernel support is
implemented on the freescale imx51 target. I am trying to implement the
sysfs gpio and am trying to follow the trail to use the sysfs method to
access the GPIO pins on the board, but am having trouble finding where
the gpios that are mapped are configured, and which number corresponds
to which GPIO.

I have read over the source code in the various libraries, and in the
platform configuration. we are using an evk board, with some mods, and
I am aware of where that is. I see 4 32 bit gpio entries in the sysfs
and exporting of various numbers seem to produce the correct results,
but the names are generic, such as gpio-3, gpio-4 etc. I am wondering
if it some generic support that is not calling the actual gpio assets
w/o me configuring something, and if so where do I do that.

any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jim Stephens
