Hello dear colleagues,

My issue was resolved by downloading 2 packages: build essential and patch ( I am not sure if installing patch 
was really  necessary). These 2 files had such extension that by clicking on them installation process began.
( I am not very familiar with linux command promt yet, so I used windows-like installation procedure).
The 3rd thing I needed already was installing zlib1g-dev which was occasionally found by using Synaptic Package Manager application.  After that LTIB started installation process. It took some time. Finally I chose the board I am interested in - Embedded Artists 3250. After choosing it, LTIB did some activity for another 40 minutes or so.
Finally it showed " Biuld Succeeded". 


So now I am at the point of reading manual again before starting to play  with Embedded Artist board with LPC3250 processor on it. 

If somebody of you has the same configuration, I would appreciate your support or sharing experience.
My goal is to create LInux for this board and then to install it on the board bu using USB and SSD memory card. Application will be little bit more complicated then "Hello World" though.
