It works but I had to make some additional mods.
dbus.spec: --localstatedir=/tmp'   Dbus appends an additional path to
this setting and if it does not already exist, it exits.  I used /var
path for such items and use the skel package to create a directory.
/tmp is a less common usage for this type of dir and may confuse some.

I had to make some other minor config changes to maintain some legacy
handling so my patch is a bit deviant.  Otherwise it all seems to
work.
