Follow-up Comment #16, patch #5785 (project lwip): I don't like 64-bit in lwIP core, for the following reasons: - it introduces unnecessary overhead - there are still compilers that do not support 64-bit. I believe it is important to decide what new function we want to add in ports, whether it is get_tickcount or time_now.
