Follow-up Comment #13, patch #5448 (project lwip): I fail to see the problem with Simon's patch? Just because a file has a .cxx or .cpp in its extension doesn't mean it's all object-oriented. C++ users don't need anything special from lwIP - they just want the API to work the same as it does for C.
