I have a question/note regarding the SNMP implementation.

If, for some reason, getting the value of a requested oid fails, SNMP should be able to respond with a genErr according to RFC 3416, 4.2.1 (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3416#section-4.2.1) and RFC 1157, 4.1.2 (https://www.tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1157#page-20). This is currently not supported as far as i can see. Are you open to implement this? If needed i could create a patch.
