Follow-up Comment #10, patch #9555 (project lwip):

Hi guys I know you're all busy and I don't want to nag, but for my own project
planning purposes would there be any chance of getting this in the next
release?

To recap why I think this is important, the current mdns responder is nice but
not compliant, as is also mentioned in the documentation. Without this the
user must make sure the name is unique on the network, which may be ok for
some products but for others not really acceptable.

It would also need tiebreaking to be compliant in this aspect but this at
least takes it one step closer. (obviously I'm biased to believe my code is
completely correct ;)  )
