Hi,
I think you have to write also your own debug printf functions like

extern void LWIPDebug(const char *pcString, ...);
extern void LWIPAssert(const char *pcString, ...);


#define LWIP_PLATFORM_DIAG(x) {LWIPDebug x;}
#define LWIP_PLATFORM_ASSERT(expr) {LWIPAssert (expr);}
or similar,
setup minimal debug log level
#define LWIP_DBG_MIN_LEVEL              LWIP_DBG_LEVEL_OFF

and enable debug types
#define LWIP_DBG_TYPES_ON               LWIP_DBG_ON

I do not know how above defines are working but in my case it works.
