I see.
Session cookies on the other hand have the completely understandable habit of
expiring at the end of the session, which is good of course.
While a lot of people tend to keep their browsers open until they fall over
(the browser, not the people), some might bookmark the page and come back to
it later.
So how about MapOSMatic instead do this:
- Visitor submits job
- MapOSMatic redirects to http://www.maposmatic.org/jobs/<id>/<nonce>
Cancellation requests are honoured if the nonce is included, and cancelling a
job isn't offered if someone visits http://www.maposmatic.org/<id> or
http://www.maposmatic.org/jobs/<id>/<wrong nonce>
