The patch has been merged, and deployed on http://dev.maposmatic.org.
It will be deployed on the production server soon.

Since you are polish, can you tell us if polish cities can actually be
found through the MapOSMatic search engine ? We limit the results to
administrative boundaries of level 8 and we are interested to know if
this choice works for Poland.
