Yes, I know.

My point was that we don't do an extensive test of a given Mapnik
version. It *seems* to work with a given release but we don't know if
we don't have a regression somewhere. Moreover Mapnik is a dependency,
not released by us so we don't understand all of its internals. That's
why my point of view is to rely on a well defined release, probably
next 2.1.

Of course, with current maposmatic code we need a recent mapnik so
using mapnik-git can be a interim solution.
