[Mldonkey-bugs] BUG!: When you have more then 490 friends, mldonkey_doesn't work anymore

I have slackware linux 8.1.
Kernel 2.4.18
athlon xp 1800+

I am using mldonkey-shared.1.1.16 for linux.

The problem:
When go to friends, and then write in "Find Friend" mldonkey and it 
finds more then 490 results, mldonkey_gui stops worklig properly, it 
stops react on to my commands, and doesn't display anything anymore.
When i delete friends.ini from the mldonkey-shared directory, everything 
starts working again.
