I have the same problem, it seems to be because it doesn't
like the current gtk theme, if I switch (or start the gui
with a user that uses another theme) it works.

(I had the one where it just says segmentation fault)

using
- red hat valhalla
- kde 3
- amd k6 200
- 64MB 
ram

any ideas ?
