I used to have this kind of problem
and used to recover using backup of
configuration files. But it looks like
only thing was that 'enable_donkey'
parameter was set to false accidentally.
If so, set it back to true and it will
see all the downloaded parts

Sorry, but one of the parallel mldonkey's was an 
mldonkey.byte. Just to make clear.
