Summary:  SegFault when doing os_read

Original Submission: read() in os_read sometimes returns 4294967295 and
hash_buffer becomes a NULL-Pointer leading to a segfault by trying to read from
it in Decode().

Problem occurs with pre-compiled bins as well as compiling myself.
