Summary: Core eats up all memory when a gui is connected to it

Original Submission: When a gui is connected to the core, the core will eat up
all the available memory. Even when the gui is ended, the core still holds all
the memory. (Guess theres some memory allocated at the end of the heap that is
not freed and blocks anything before it to be freed)

and another weirdness: It even eats up all ram and cpu with the local history
disabled (and cleared of course)

is a share of ~~ 3700 files too much for mldonkey to handle?
if so, why did the 2.00 release version work just fine? and why doesn't 2.00
work anymore now that 2,02 is out??

on my box P3-450 running SuSE 8.0) the core does that even without a gui.
