can i compile CVS mldonkey on free-bsd 5.0..... i compiled and installed ocaml
as described in faq... when i followed the instructions for the other
dependency it failed horriblly during the 'make configure'.... so i decided i
would try and compile mldonkey without the gui or anything.... but then i said
"what they hey" and tryed a compile with the gui.... so it asked if i wanted to
install that other dependecy while it was compiling and it suceeded in doing
so..... but then it got stuck on this building dependency thing... now its been
siting there for like half and hour.... and i'm not like a genius programmer
but that seems like a long time... so i check 'ps -ef' to look at the process
and there seems to be an ever growing list of ./configure and make depend
processes..... so i'm just wondering if i leave this over night will it
magiclly build... i mean is it just really slow.... or has it died..?... and
what can i do to fix it if its broken? or is cvs just not meant to be built on
bsd...? you can email me if you want at this address address@hidden i'm
interested in knowing because when i run the overnet binary on bsd i get all
sorts of wierdness... and i really want the options that the new mldonkey has
to offer...

thanks...
chris
