Category: Core
Severity: 5 - Average
Item Group: None
Resolution: None
Assigned to: None
Status: Closed
Release: 2.00
Release:
Platform Version: Linux i386-i686
Binaries Origin: Compiled From CVS

Summary: Core looses all files after restart

Original Submission: When you stop the core (save, close_fds, kill) and then
start it again it will loose the last file added and resets all downloaded
files to "zero bytes downloaded". The files DO still contain the previously
downloaded content though (tried by just "playing" them). This can be
reproduced every time I restart. I have used binaries and compiled from CVS,
same problem. System is a RedHat 7.3 updated with all errata packages using
kernel 2.4.18-19.7x (same problem on self-compiled kernel installed before). A
du -h still shows you the size of the previously downloaded chunks, but the
interface does not show them :-(

Any ideas welcome.

This bug seems to be fixed on mldonkey >2.02. Works now for me. Can also kill
it hard (kill -9) and it still "remembers".
