Summary: Memory leak on linux

Original Submission: I left the mlnet core up all night so I could download a
700 mb avi movie. When I woke up this morning it was still downloading (gotten
around 65%) but all 512 mb of my ram had gradually been used up. Eventually
mlnet was autokilled by the kernel and I almost lost my download.

I have also had a similar problem. I had mldonkey doing nothing for many weeks
and it had balloned its memory usage to use all of my physical memory(about
250MB) and was slowy eating away at my swap space.
