Follow-up Comment #2, bugs #11842 (project mldonkey):

i still can observe this sometimes. now with your 2.5-30ab_r234M source
compiled with the latest ocaml version under Mac OS X 10.3.8 (Build 7U16).
neither buffer_writes nor emulate_sparse_files is enabled. it does this even
when no bit of the file was downloaded.
