please give me some more information on the setup
 - solaris - which version?
 - sparc - 32 or 64 bit code?
 - gcc or sun forte - which version?
 - (for gcc): source: built from source, sfw, blastwave?
 - boost - which version?
 - using gnu as/ld or sun as/ld?
