On a sandbox repository:

mrb$ mt disapprove 814f

I tagged this revision later on, then ran mt disapprove on it. If i do the same with a revision which does not add files, but merely changes them, the error does not occur, presumably because both revision and ancestor *do* have a value, but i'm just diving into the code, so i have not a very good clue really.
