In my case, that wouldn't really improve matters. I hardly
ever synchronize a single branch, I usually synchronize the
entire database with the server at once. Hence, '*' is the
pattern I want to use. It happens frequently that I am in,
say ~/mono/foobar, and execute
monotone sync mt-1.example.org '*'
monotone sync mt-2.example.org '*'
where both servers have different --exclude configurations.
So as long as the server aborts the connection when it sees
a branch cert in doesn't want, I'm screwed -- unless we
start storing the defaults in a per-server map or something.
(Please don't!)
