Hi,

I have just upgraded to monotone-0.22 (using the source tarball from the
WebSite) and now I want to get the monotree-sources. Therefore I tried to get
the complete monotone repository following the steps described in
"self-hosting info":

/common/src > monotone --db=montone.db db init
/common/src > monotone --db=monotone.db pull venge.net "net.venge.monotone"

monotone: setting default server to venge.net
monotone: setting default branch include pattern to 'net.venge.monotone'
monotone: setting default branch exclude pattern to ''
monotone: doing anonymous pull; use -kKEYNAME if you need authentication
monotone: connecting to venge.net
monotone: first time connecting to server venge.net
monotone: I'll assume it's really them, but you might want to double-check
monotone: their key's fingerprint: 70a0f283898a18815a83df37c902e5f1492e9aa2
monotone: warning: saving public key for address@hidden to database
monotone: finding items to synchronize:
monotone: ticks: >="bytes in"/1024, <="bytes out"/1024, c="certs in"/3,
r="revs in"/1, w="revs written"/1
monotone: ><crw<>><<<<>>><<><>>>>>c>c<<<<<>c><c<<<>c>c<<>>c<>c<<>c>c<>c<
monotone: >c<>c>c<>>cc<>>c<>c<<>>c>c<>c>c<<<><>c>c<<>c><c>c<>c>><<<>c<c>

[snipped]

monotone: >>
monotone: read from fd 5 (peer venge.net) failed, disconnecting

Hm, there are no branches in the created monotone.db. Something's going wrong?
Any ideas, guys? What am I doing wrong?

Ciao, Georg
