 From within the zat working copy:

$ mtn push rumi zat
           ^^^^ ^^^

rumi is the host where usher is, and zat is the branch name.

phd.log shows:

mtn: beginning service on 127.0.1.1 : 15000
mtn: accepted new client connection from 127.0.1.1 : 33253
mtn: allowed 'my_key' read permission for 'zat' excluding ''
mtn: allowed 'my_key' write permission for 'zat' excluding ''
mtn: finding items to synchronize:
mtn: peer 127.0.1.1:33253 processing finished, disconnecting
Affected branches:
  zat
