Ok, as of 9c29d50ca2d3888627c33617a0321b48dad2336c, I agree.

However, I'm getting lots of failures on Win32 MinGW:

 19 _--db_with_parent_dir FAIL (line 16) 0:00
 24 _MTN_case-folding_security_patch FAIL (line 22) 0:00
 41 annotate_file_on_multirooted_branch FAIL (line 23) 0:00
219 exchanging_work_via_netsync_sent_notes FAIL (line 13) 0:00
354 netsync_epochs_are_not_sent_upstream_by_pull FAIL (line 13) 0:00
360 netsync_negotiation FAIL (line 122) 0:00
362 netsync_per_server_defaults FAIL (line 16) 0:04
369 netsync_with_globs FAIL (line 12) 0:00
464 schema_migration_bad_schema FAIL (line 18) 0:00
508 things_in_.mtn-ignore_get_ignored FAIL (line 33) 0:00
520 unchanged_options_preserves_mtime FAIL (line 14) 0:01
546 util_mtnopt FAIL (line 16) 0:00
552 workspace_migration FAIL (line 113) 0:00

If these are new tests, it's probably just line ending stuff. I may
spend some time on these this weekend.
