Except I might still want to not override it when I'm working on other
projects. Is there some per-project or similar way of providing lua
function? Shoud there be?

There's about 216 of these .svn directories! But I suppose I could get
them all with about seven or eight wild cards. However much we usually
quote things in mtn commands to avoid shell interpretation, sometimes
the shell helps.
