Any chance of getting a new release this year? At the very least,
pkgsrc (pkgsrc.org) is having trouble because of building with Lua 5.2,

Can you please try rev fe1180f754da5d552c308b61e8129e59039bc559 on
NetBSD (or wherever you use pkgsrc)? I just committed a fix by Thomas
Moschny and another one to get rid of the remaining segfault in spawn_pipe.

That rev works fine for me on Debian with lua 5.1 as well as 5.2 (even
w/o the compatibility wrappers on the Lua side).

I was able to successfully build that revision on NetBSD with pkgsrc and lua 5.2 (I confirmed that 1.0 is failing to build). I haven't put it through its paces, but "mtn --version" and "mtn --help" don't crash. :)
