Hello,
I've GNOME 2.4 and Mozilla 1.5. I installed the latest 'mozilla-bonobo'
.deb package and in
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins,
I can correctly see the 'libmozilla_bonobo.so', symbolic link to
/usr/lib/mozilla-bonobo/libmozilla_bonobo.so
Now, the problem is that from the 'mozilla-bonobo' test page, some MIME
types work (Y) and other not (N), precisely:
N - pdf (Adobe plugins not installed, just using the GGV)
Y - ps
N - gnumeric (Gnumeric not installed)
N - xls
Y/N - abw (AbiWord not installed, but I see XML code)
N - rtf
N - doc
Y/N - gchempaint (GChemPain not installed, but I see XML code)
Y/N - gcrystal (GCrystal not installed, but I see XML code)
N - svg (AdobeViewer not installed and no Mozilla-svg)
How can I configure the plugin to:
- use GGV for .pdf (as for the .ps)?
- use OpenOffice.org 1.1 for .xls/.doc/.rtf?
- add a specific entry (like .ppt/OpenOffice.org)?
Is there a way to see AbiWord/Gnumeric/GChemPaint/GCrystal document w/o
the relatives programs installed? For the first two, as I use
OpenOffice.org, I wouldn't install other similar programs.
The last one, is there a list w/ all the files managed by 'mozilla-bonobo'?
Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
