[Myer-devel] New release 20031129

Dear Friends:
     This release finds Myer's parser on much firmer footing, due in part to
fixes for the academic paper I just wrote about it:
          http://home.comcast.net/~jyavner/myer.sxw     (OpenOffice)
          http://home.comcast.net/~jyavner/myer.doc     (Word)

The "horrible hack" is gone. Myer no longer merges all global symbols by
name, even if their scopes never overlap (thanks to Joern Rennecke of the gc
developer's team for the solution hint).

As a side effect of cleaning up the processing order for macros used as
arguments to other macros, Myer now recognizes macro referenes in
preprocessor conditionals such as
        #ifdef XXX
if XXX is actually defined, this is now detected as a reference. Of course,
if it is not defined, there is nothing to refer to.

Installation should be somewhat cleaner now, thanks to feedback from Mathieu
Lacage. At this early point in Myer's history, all "user experience" reports
from anyone who has actually installed Myer are welcome on this list.
