Sounds good, but I can't think of a good way to do it right now. (I'd
like to make it easy to toggle, but there are few enough toggles left as
it is. I guess that's something to work out for 1.3.9.) I've changed
the behavior back for the time being, and tweaked a few things so it'll
be easier to toggle in the future.

I use it to write emails (and other things) as well as code. nano's a
clone of the Pine [Email] Composer, after all :)
