[Nufw-Announces] NuFW port to libnfnetlink_queue |

Hi,
The work on NuFW 1.1.0 has begun. The first step done is the port of
NuFW to NFQUEUE which has just been finished.
For the moment, only svn repository and the daily export contain this
new feature.
Svn access method is described at :
http://www.nufw.org/-Downloads-.html
NFQUEUE is a new Netfilter feature that should be available in 2.6.14.
It uses the upcoming nfnetlink architecture to provide tha ability to
use several queue at once (65535 to be exact).
NuFW with NFQUEUE seems to work fine and some more extensive tests will
soon be done to see how it behaves under heavy load.
Thus, it is now officially possible to have more than one program using
queueing to userspace at the same time. One can want to mix snort-inline
and NuFW together to have a firewall with IPS capabilities and
authentification.
Happy users filtering to all,
