| track visible in the pattern editor at a time, even if you're only

I don't think this is needed.
For a machine developer, it will be always easier to
develop the machine with global parameters. So there is a natural tendancy
to have global parameters.
Second reason is that, in practice this is not needed a lot, (at least in
my experience)
in buzz I always try to avoid having many channels per machines...
