Follow-up Comment #43, bug #30685 (project octave):
There is only gcc 4.1.2 on the server (cluster) in question, and it's not
realistic to install another version. Octave compiles and runs fine on my
personal machine (debian, gcc 4.4.5).
Perhaps a link issue? It's certainly confusing as everything appears correct.
I understand that it's not an option to remove "gnulib::" from the master
source tree. However, would it be a safe/stable solution to remove it in
builds where it does cause problems (ie, should such a build be as
functional/stable as the normal packaged releases)?
