Follow-up Comment #11, bug #32528 (project octave):
Octave waited too long between the 3.2.4 release and the 3.4.0 release. I
believe the intention has been to increase the frequency of releases;
certainly it was expected that in a few months we would need to do a 3.4.1
release to catch the inevitable bugs introduced by the major changes from 3.2
to 3.4. However, it still would be a good idea to draft an e-mail to
address@hidden mentioning your desire to see a bug fix release
and why. This will help remind us to do it and reinforce the fact that there
are users waiting on it.
