Follow-up Comment #4, bug #33503 (project octave):
On the other hand, I think now that using a fixed value (_not_ depending
somehow on the scale of elements in A) should make more sense, since the basis
vectors are normalized. So using the variable "tol" as tolerance is probably
not so good as I thought ... don't know what to do here.
