Details:

Using the same syntax as I did in Octave 3.4.0 (which worked) and variations
as well, I tried using the clear function with a regular expression. In 3.4.2
I get:

error: clear: regex not available in this version of Octave

Is this something that was removed from 3.4.2 (if so, why?), or is this a
possible installation problem?
