URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?34667> Summary: Doc command can't find info files Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: clemwang Submitted on: Thu 27 Oct 2011 09:33:31 PM GMT Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Documentation Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Clem Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 3.4.0 Operating System: Mac OS _______________________________________________________ Details: I got the Octave 3.4.0 binaries from a precompiled build here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/octave/files/Octave%20MacOSX%20Binary/ Running the Octave "doc" command doesn't work: >> doc info: Cannot find node `Top'. >> doc transpose info: Cannot find node `Top'. info: Cannot find node `Top'. I don't know if this is a Mac only problem. I don't know if I were to build it myself, if the problem would still occur. (BTW, I'm having an AWFUL time building Octave from scratch on my Mac. Can't link readline or qhull.) _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?34667> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
