Follow-up Comment #6, bug #33625 (project octave):

Oscar, the patch was on the development branch, which should soon become
stable within a month or so. The fix hasn't been released yet.

If you're feeling adventurous and urgently need this patch, you will have to
build Octave yourself, either from the stable source and importing this patch,
or building the current development sources.
